ANZCAL Accredited Providers
Find an accredited coach training provider
ANZCAL Accredited Providers offer coaching programmes that have been independently assessed against ANZCAL’s standards for quality coaching education.
Choosing an accredited provider gives you greater confidence that the programme has been thoroughly evaluated and prepares graduates with the knowledge, practical skills and professional awareness required to coach effectively.
What it means to be an ANZCAL Accredited Provider
Accreditation is not automatic and programmes are not self-assessed or simply approved based on the provider’s reputation.
Each programme submitted for accreditation is independently reviewed by the ANZCAL Assessment Panel. This panel is made up of experienced ANZCAL Master Coaches who understand what credible, effective coaching education should include.
Programmes are evaluated against ANZCAL’s published Standards and Assessment Rubric. Every application is considered individually and must demonstrate that it meets the requirements for the relevant ANZCAL accreditation level.
What we assess
ANZCAL assesses accredited programmes according to three key principles.
Learning requirements and practical outcomes
Accredited programmes must meet minimum requirements for learning hours and topic coverage. They must also demonstrate what graduates will understand and be able to do by the end of their training.
ANZCAL does not prescribe one teaching method, coaching model or methodology. This allows providers to offer different approaches while maintaining clear and meaningful standards.
Whole-person coaching
Whole-person development must be integrated throughout the programme rather than included as a standalone topic.
Graduates should be equipped to work appropriately with the emotional, somatic, relational and meaning-making aspects of the human experience while maintaining clear ethical and professional boundaries.
Australian and New Zealand relevance
Accredited programmes must demonstrate genuine engagement with the Australian and New Zealand coaching environment.
ANZCAL’s standards reflect the professional expectations and cultural contexts of both countries.
