ANZCAL accredited Providers offer coaching programmes that have been independently assessed against ANZCAL’s Standards for coach training. This page is the official record of every ANZCAL-accredited programme and its current status.
What it means to be an ANZCAL Accredited Provider
Accreditation is not automatic. Programmes are not self-assessed or approved on reputation.
Each programme is assessed by the ANZCAL Assessment Panel: two experienced ANZCAL Master Coaches who review it independently against ANZCAL’s Standards and Assessment Rubric. Every application must meet the requirements for the level it applies for.
Accreditation decisions are made by the panel alone. They are never linked to any commercial or partnership arrangement with ANZCAL.
What we assess
ANZCAL assesses accredited programmes according to three key principles.
Learning requirements and practical outcomes
Accredited programmes meet minimum requirements for learning hours and topic coverage, and show what graduates will understand and be able to do by the end of their training.
ANZCAL does not prescribe a teaching method, coaching model or methodology. Providers can take different approaches while meeting the same clear standards.
Whole-person coaching
Whole-person development runs through the programme rather than sitting in a single module.
Graduates are equipped to work with the emotional, somatic, relational and meaning-making dimensions of people’s lives, while keeping clear ethical and professional boundaries between coaching and therapy.
Australian and New Zealand relevance
Accredited programmes prepare coaches for practice here, including the coaching market, the professional landscape, and the regulatory boundaries of coaching in New Zealand and Australia.
What you can expect
Programmes offered by ANZCAL Accredited Providers:
- Have been independently assessed by a panel of ANZCAL Master Coaches
- Meet ANZCAL’s Standards for the level they are accredited at
- Teach the ANZCAL Code of Ethics and Conduct
- Include practical coaching skills and whole-person development
- Make graduates eligible to apply for ANZCAL membership at the programme’s level.
Graduating from an accredited programme does not by itself make you an ANZCAL-accredited coach. Graduates apply for membership and meet the requirements for their level, set out on our Associate, Professional and Master pages.

NZ Life Coaching
5 Day Breakthrough Life Coaching Programme
NZ Life Coaching’s 5 Day Breakthrough Life Coaching Programme is accredited by ANZCAL at Associate Coach level. Graduates receive NZ Life Coaching’s Certificate in Life Coaching and are eligible to apply for ANZCAL membership at Associate level.
