Who it’s for

The Associate Coach level is for coaches building their practice who want trusted accreditation from the very start of their journey.

  • You’ve completed recognised coach training
  • You’re coaching both paid and practice clients
  • You want credibility as you grow your practice

Accreditation requirements

  • Completion of a recognised coach training programme
  • 10 logged coaching hours; post-course client hours on an ANZCAL-accredited programme count. If you join before you have them, complete them within 12 weeks of joining; if you don’t, your membership is cancelled and the fee is not refunded.
  • Agreement to the ANZCAL Code of Ethics and Conduct
  • To renew each year: 50 logged coaching hours, 20 CPD hours and an annual reflection. You also attend 3 Coaching Gym sessions a year, and must be actively coaching for them to count.
  • Professional indemnity insurance recommended once you coach paying clients.

Indicative criteria – final requirements are confirmed during your application review.
